Union Government Monthly Accounts Dashboard

Introduction

The Dashboard is a graphical presentation of the broad fiscal parameters e.g., Total Receipts, Total Expenditure and the Deficit components. The data is presented in Actuals at the end of each month and analysed vis-A-vis corresponding Budget / Revised Estimates and the Year on Year Growth. A graphical representation of its constituents showing progressive growth in comparison with previous years is also shown.

This visual representation of accounts data has been designed to be interactive so that the user can select any particular month for any financial years starting 2015 - 16 and the respective data and charts would be auto populated to display the position at the end of that particular month.

Instructions to use

The dashboard has been prepared in a downloadable MsExcel file

Progressive data upto any month, since April 2015, can be viewed by selecting the respective Financial Year and Month. A five year analysis of the components of Receipts, Expenditure and Deficit can also be viewed by accessing the hyperlinks on the respective area on the main page. Various components of the Receipts and Expenditure can be selected, in combination or individually, to view the respective graphs. The MsExcel file can be downloaded by clicking the hyperlink below:
